From teenage through to adult life we tend to see ourselves through a lens of lack. We look at life through the lens of what we don’t have and what we need to work on. It’s something and an approach that will consume you and keep you try busy. It will also – if left unquestioned – keep you far from the joy, fulfilment and happiness that you seek and that you probably feel that achieving x, y and z will bring you.

But here’s a thought: do you ever rally appreciate all the magic that you already possess. The video above may all strike a chord with you. When coaching individuals and running workshops with groups and teams I often get the to list their strengths and qualities. Most really struggle – for the reasons above and because additional pressures that may have been placed on them by others and then themselves.

But it’s absolutely key that you do begin to really explore who you are, what your gifts are and what your magic is. Because then you can really make headway on the things that you feel are important. Or perhaps you might let go of some of them as they are not important to who you truly are, to your true self worth or to what you truly are about.

As you begin o embrace your gifts you will begin to fully embrace life and bringing the magic that you have fully into the world. Bu this time from a (deeper) place of joy, energy and gratitude.
